Robby Rose graduated in 2004 from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in painting. He moved to Brooklyn in 2005 and immersed himself in the art world.

The paintings on this website exhibit his classical portrait commissions. He will create a portrait in oil or pencil that will bring out the humanity of your subject, and will capture their appearance for posterity.

Robby makes autobiographical paintings for his personal body of work. He uses references from his home photo albums in order to captured his subjects in unposed scenarios. Examples of this work can be found under the "EXHIBITIONS" link.
